Capacitors

Capacitors are electrical components that will hold electric potential energy. The most common type of capacitor you will see in a parallel-plate capacitor. A parallel plate has 2 conducting plates that are parallel to each other. One plate has a positive charge while the other has a negative charge of the same magnitude.
