Evolution as an Ongoing Process

Evolution is a continuous and dynamic process that affects all living organisms, driven by various factors such as genetic variation, environmental changes, and selective pressures. The evidence for ongoing evolution can be seen in genomic changes, the fossil record, the development of resistance in organisms, and the evolution of pathogens.
