Newton’s 1st Law in Rotational Form

If you recall, Newton’s 1st Law Verbatim was that an object at rest will remain at rest, and an object in motion will remain in motion at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by a net external force.

The same principle applies in Newton’s 1st Law in Rotational Form. A rigid body at rest will remain at rest and a rigid body with an angular velocity will remain that at constant angular velocity, unless acted upon by a net external torque.
