Heat Capacity

To model how much heat is transferred when the temperature of a body changes, we use the heat transfer equation: q=mcΔT{q=mc \Delta T}, where q{q} is the heat transferred, m{m} is the mass of the body, c{c} is the specific heat capacity, measured in Jg°C{\frac{J}{g \degree C}}, and ΔT{\Delta T} is the change in temperature the body goes through.
