Physicist Michio Kaku has devoted much of his career to explaining how scientific progress shapes the future. His greatest goal is to unify all physical laws under a single theory of everything. This theory would combine relativity, which describes the structure of the universe on the largest scales, with quantum mechanics, which governs the smallest particles. Kaku believes that once science bridges this divide, humanity will enter a new technological era with advances that reshape society.
